Every TaoYuan tree passes through seven controlled stages inside our own factory — selected materials, welded steel frames, hand-shaped bark and leaves, UV & fireproof treatment, inspection and export packing. No trading, no outsourcing the craft.
We're a manufacturer, not a trader — so we control the tree from raw steel and timber all the way to the shipping container. Here is exactly how it's built.
Each project starts with a drawing. We select seasoned timber, root stock and food-safe polymer leaf material, then engineer the load, height and species so the finished tree looks — and stands — exactly as specified.
For large and outdoor trees we fabricate a steel-structure skeleton in-house — the same approach the industry's engineering leaders use. A welded, galvanised frame lets a lobby or plaza tree stand several metres tall, resist wind, and travel without deforming.
Over the frame we build the trunk — real-wood cores or moulded FRP (glass-fibre) for large sculptural forms — then hand-carve, sand and paint the bark grain. This is where a tree stops looking manufactured and starts looking grown.
Thousands of leaves, needles and blossoms — many from our own leaf moulds — are wound onto the branches one bundle at a time. Hand-leafing is slow, but it's what wins the 95% 1:1 realism that moulded, mass-produced trees never reach.
Outdoor and public-space trees receive protective treatment: UV-stable coatings so colours don't fade in sun, flame-retardant finishing for indoor safety compliance, and anti-corrosion coating on the steel frame — built to survive real weather and public venues for years.
The complete tree is assembled and stood up on the floor for a final check — frame stability, colour consistency, leaf density and finish are all inspected before anything is signed off. Nothing ships until it looks right standing in full.
Large trees are broken down into modular, labelled sections, crated to protect leaves and finish in transit, and loaded for export. We ship factory-direct worldwide, with re-assembly guidance so your team can raise the tree on site in hours.
